My HP w19 monitor is starting to die. Images all have tails and I cannot find anything in the menu to degauss the monitor. Tried on line help and found nothing. Guess it is time for a new monitor.
I know I want a 23" minimum. Looking for thoughts and suggestions from those that have this size and larger monitor. Pros/cons of the monitor you have and would you buy it again.

I buy a lot of 24" LCD monitors and this is my experience.

I have had to return more ACERs than any other brand. Defective units range from DOA to dim display to bad vertical or horizontal sync.

I have had great service from Panasonic, ViewSonic and SAMSUNG.
I have a few SOYOs in service without complaint.

I also have a few Norcent (Office Depot brand, I think) that have been reliable.

I really dislike Dell as a company as well as most of their computer products. However I love their 24" LCD screens. I have two 2405s here at home, and two more at work. They're very inexpensive for what you get, and they just work super well. The '05 in the number is the year they were produced and sold; so yes I've had them both since 2005 and they're still doing working beautifully.

Packed full of extra USB ports, infinitely adjustable tilt/swivel base, and gorgeous screen real estate (1920x1200 resolution). No cons that I can really note.

I also have a Samsung 24" LCD connected to my Windows gaming rig. My only real complaints about it: 2 USB ports and very limited adjustments with the base; for me it sits too high and I can't lower the base like I can with the Dells.

I bought a 28" I-Inc a little more than a year ago. Would buy the same one again (especially when they cost half as much as I paid for mine).

It will be used strictly as a monitor that sees no gaming.

My neighbor has one of these, and I must say it is pretty dang nice. He also plays his XBox on it via HDMI I think.
