No I don’t but I'm picking up a set this weekend from a local sale. After about an hour of searching I found a thread from last summer from a GT member with the same issue it suggested that he put a little more force into getting it to clear the rear of handguard, he didn’t have the original furniture on the rifle as well. I will try to use a little more force as suggested. I wanted it more for looks than anything else. Thanks for the reply maxxmojo. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Below is suggestion I found:
Relax the flex in the rod as it goes through the lower handguard causes it to catch. Sit down and hold the rifle in your right or left hand, but on the ground, thumb behind the top of the gas block, fingers giving the rod under the barrel your kung fu grip, which flexes the rod as you push it down, and allows it to clear the rear of the handguards where it is catching.
