Anybody tried the Kimber 22lr conversion kit?

1911 Forums

http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=864181

MidwayUSA has the Kimber 22lr conversion kit on sale for 289.99 until 12/31 and I think I am going to be buying one. Just wanted to know if anyone out there has some experience with this kit. It will be going on my SA Loaded SS.
Thanks!

it wouldn't fit on my TRP, only got about 1/2" onto the frame and then it stopped.
the Kimber is a Ciener design, so if you have a ramped barrel or shoot a 9mm 1911, it won't work w/o modifying the gun.

I use the Wilson (Marvel Unit 2) and couldn't be happier. The Wilson/Ciener that i had didn't like most ammo.

I have the Kimber .22 kit and use it once in a while on my Kimber CDP. No problems for me, but not sure if it would work on SA. The Kimber has the feed ramp in the frame...not sure about the SA.
