G17 vs G34

What are the frame differences between the Gen3/4 G17 and the G34?

Could I buy a G17 and then buy and fit a G34/G17L style slide to the G17 frame? Are there any differences in the dust cover/lower frame portion of the frames?

It’s the same frame. The Gen3 G17,17L,22,24,31,34,35,37 are all the same frame!

Besides Lone Wolf are there any other slide manufacturers that make a G34 Slide WITHOUT the top lightening cutout? As in a SOLID TOP SLIDE? LW only has the standard cutout config for sale, even on the G17L slide.

I did...they do...make them W/O the cutout...they offer solid Stainless Slides...

Picked up a used LW G34 Barrel (threaded) at a gun show recently in anticipation of getting a G34, now I'll just get a Caspian Slide and parts and make a G34 upper for my G17 Gen 3...

34 Slide will get a RMR and Suppressor Sights...kinda like this...
