the barrel lengths on their competition guns and that titan 10mm 'duty' gun are a bit bewildering to me.

No CBOBs at all this year? Shame.

A VBOB and Guardian 45ACP fills that gap nicely.

Yeah, but the CBOB was all steel and cheaper.

It's funny to see the Guardian (both 9mm and 45ACP) is the only 1911 model that comes with an ambi safety

And you thought you got lucky when I didn't pick up that CBOB.

Yeah, I was totally doing the happy dance.

Then I called them and was like "hey, I am coming tomorrow to pay off the CBOB and pick it up....what's the balance?"

They responded "CBOB? What CBOB? We aren't holding a CBOB."

dang, that is kind of boring. the PM-9 is the most appealing to myself but it would have been nice to tweak it in some way to make it different than years past.

Yes. 2010 Guardian came with a regular TS.

I can honestly say of the new models that there isn't really anything for me. Maybe the Guardian 45 if I was looking for a LW Commander.

But the 10mm "duty" gun is perplexing to me.

How long ago was the CBOB? My buddy got one from them LOL. Im really liking that DW has decided to try and set a mark on the competition world and take some business away from STI. The names of the new ones though are awful though, "Havoc" and "Mayhem" haha. They look nice though, if they price the DS' right, they should get some sales.

Yes, some of the names are silly. I'm betting that the guns will be at or over 2 grand.

Im sure your right! If their priced around the same as the STI's, im sure they will only sell a few. I know I wouldnt by a brand new design that was the same price as the tried and true STI's. I always wondered why STI didnt do that much to try and expand their company by marketing and stuff like that. That was until I started shooting USPSA and saw that pretty close to 90% of shooters are running STI 2011's. Glock's and CZ's pretty much make up the rest.
I have always wanted to get a CZ and love the way they feel, but for some reason, everytime i have the money saved up, i buy something else

No, the Guardian ambi's are a mis-print. They will be single sided.

I thing I will totally agree with anyone with is that the DW/CZ's website and catalog is a collection of mistakes and outdated information. It has been this way for many years.
I personally think somebody ought to be drawing unemployment over this.

It was August. Put it on layaway in July. Went to pick it up and those dipsh1ts had sold it.

Haha Ya He got one from them late July. There is only one guy there that has any idea about what he's doing. The old man is a horrible business man. He buys exactly what he likes. That happens to a certain extent with every company, but his manager has said many times that if it werent for all their other products there store would suffer horribly. Perfect example is 1911's. They have a ton!! Before I knew semi's it used to be a toy store for me, but the fact is, 1911's dont sell in our area. Glock's and M&P's do. Hence the reason we dont stock them besides Wilson's and TRP's and TM's when we can get them. If STI had better markup we would carry them as well, but they are impossible to make money on. It's a shame!!
