AzCDL promoting bad legislation. HB2146

I disagree with this legislation being promoted by AzCDL.

We already have the right to carry openly or concealed without a permit. I don't see why removing the requirement that DPS approve ccw classes is necessary. I am worried the only thing it will do is reduce the number of states that will honor AZ ccw permits.

Could be just a cost cutting measure. I can see how someone in the legislature would conclude that since we don't need the permit to CC, there is no reason to have the training certified.

I agree with your objection, however. Decertifying the classes could have a negative effect on reciprocity and I'm agin it.
