I'm talking about the threaded brass inserts in the stock that the two screws for the butt pad screw in to. I called Midway, and they didn't have a clue. I called Remington several times, and got the recording each time. Does anyone have a good source for these? I would think there would be at least an occasional demand.

Yes, go to www.speedfeedinc.com get the telpone number and call and order them. Niether Midway nor Remington make that stock and will not have parts for them.
