The kid that got surprised by the secret hat shooter is now pushing for gun control. It must have been traumatic for him.

Many freedoms from the time of my childhood have now been lost.

I had a Johnny 7 when I was a little kid. The Japanese kids that lived upstairs had something like it but I thought theirs was cooler, they had pretty cool toys.

Wow that is concealed. Somebody should make one with a real gun. Remember Paladin and that little derringer he carried in his belt?

Toys of my youth

Oh yeah! I remember those days I had a pair of the fanner 50's and the carbine. They used a brass "case" that had a spring in it, then you snapped a plastic bullet in/on it and stuck a cap on the case head. My dad also bought me a "bad guy" I do not remember the name of it but it was a metal cutout of a bandit on a plate with a fanner 50 attached to his right arm which would simulate drawing when you pulled the release cord. The speed of his draw was adjustable. If you outdrew him the plastic bullet would cause him to pivot back and hit a stop, if you were faster than him good, if not he would shoot you.. I'm 63 now so this would have been in the 50's
