I see Ruger is selling complete piston uppers. Anyone planning on trying one out?

I got an email from Ruger today, they were around $1400. But that is MSRP.

Dang, that's pretty stiff, but not entirely surprising. A local store here has the complete rifle for 1499, but as you said, that's list. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks.

There are many better piston uppers than the Ruger.
Reports state it's rail design makes proper cleaning a PITA.
