Mas,

I saw this on sale a few days ago, so I picked up a box to try out. With the cheaper price tag (10 bucks cheaper than Federal HS) I figured it might be worth looking into carrying this ammo in my G22, provided it passed the range test.

So my question is, what is your opinion of this SD ammo, and do you have any first hand experience with it?

Chris, I've found MagTech ammo to be remarkably good quality stuff for the price. That said, I don't know of any shootings with the MagTech Gold line in any caliber. Most actual shootings in this country involve the "big four" US ammo brands, Federal/Remington/Speer/Winchester.

Might want to check over in Caliber Corner.
