New Sig P226 Navy

I wanted a full size 9mm and decided to celebrate my almost 18 years active duty Navy with the 226 Navy. Hopefully some range time tomorrow though I've shot the range 226 plenty.

Looks great! What were/are you issued during your service?

The only weapon I've used in my service, qualified on, etc is the M9.

Not really, just a standard Sig P226. I think it supposedly has the special phosphate corrosion resistent finish in its internal parts, though I'm not for sure on this. So it's supposed to be the same one the SEAL Teams use. I just like the cute little anchor I'm also going to have my Naval Aviator wings engraved on it.

Went to the range and put 250 round through her and as expected, it ran flawless. Used 200 rounds of Winchester 9mm 124gr NATO and 50 rounds of Hornady 147gr XTP self-defense rounds....my choice for protection. Very happy with the gun.
