Newbie
Greetings to all, new gapper here, model 39. Sold my 23C and glad I did. This small GAP is smoother shooting than the .40 compensated. I used to favor 1911's but now only own the 39 and a couple revolvers. Hope you'll let me hang out.
Best Regards

Welcome to the forum! Enjoy your 39.
We have a 38 and 39 - when they become more available, we'll look for a 37-4.
dave - want one of each

I was a 1911 guy for more years than I care to count, but came over to the dark side last Fall. One of my purchases since then was a 38, which I like a lot and carry often. It is a great shooter. I now lust for a 37 and 39.

I see another in my future also. Likely a 38. Good to hear from all of you.

Welcome.
We all came to the GAP in different ways. I was looking to cut back on reloading stocks. I had converted my ACP to small primer. I was looking for another small primer round. GAP shares powder, primers and projectiles with other rounds I reload for. I had a GSSF coupon buring a hole in my pocket, and I got a G38. I could easily sell my ACP guns, and not miss them at all.
It's Glocks biggest secret (but we know it).

I recently got rid of 3 Colts that had been customized, keeping only one Colt...a WWII relic that is fit for daily carry should I choose to. But why?
The GAP haters are gonna hate, no matter what. If you reload OR don't mind buying ammo on the 'net, the .45 GAP is, in my opinion a damn fine cartridge, and a great shoooter in the Glocks

I did! Including a Colt light weight Commander (customized by Larry Kelly RIP, owner founder of Mag-na-port). No regrets.
