Mossberg 930spx

Sooooo...the other day I happened upon a trade in mossberg 930 spx for the right price of $321 OTD. I've never owned a semi-auto shotgun before and this will be my second mossberg. I've grown to love the destructive nature of a 12 gauge more so than my ar I think. This thing tops the cake! Good like it came...needs a sling and a light. I'm so happy!

WU

P.S. Am at work...will post pics later...although it looks like a stock black spx with ghost rings.

Wow, I've been seriously considering the 930spx as my next firearm purchase. I would love to find one at that price!

Great shotgun over 1,500 shells of low and high brass with 0 malfuntions. If you want to see some great video's on the 930 SPX especially on disassembly check out mixflip on youtube.

Thanks for all the replies! I will have questions most likely once I get out there and actually get a good day of shooting a case or so. Work...blah...but it funds my habits!

Glad to hear your SPX worked well. There will be some interesting things coming out soon for the SPX.

Thats awesome to hear fellow 930SPX brother! Next time out, try and load it up with 1oz slugs and some distance and see how it does? Mine can nail targets COM at 75 yards with ease (with ghost ring sights). After 1000 rounds of flawless testing I feel 100% confident to have my 930SPX as one of my go to SHTF tools.

LMFAO Looool... congratulations. And don't worry, I have a Brand NEW Bushmaster sitting in the locked case, all "fouled" up because I decided I was all smart and technical and gunsmith like and messed up a bunch of stuff, broke a spring ,lost a pin or detent or something, screwed up this, couldn't fit that without removing that but I didn't really want to remove that ... ARGH.

Gunsmith. LOL He was like, I have no idea what you just said brotha,. I'm pretty sure I got your back, just get your rig in here. Absolutely worst case scenario I'll drop it down to basics and rebuild the upper and lower from scratch lol. Go Me. I Suck.

lol, hey Scappy...I know your pain. Losing a detent spring is enough to make you go out and buy a bunch of proper gunsmith tools and jigs and braces etc etc and set up a dedicated work bench. I ended up building my own work bench eventually just so I could keep from having pins and springs from rolling of the kitchen table!
