Actually, my G34 did come from the factory with the upturned dustcover (as seen in this image of the gun taken a few days after I bought it), but some quality time with a small pot of boiling water fixed that!

Just picked this up today. It's a Marlin lever action in 45-70. I was invited to go hog hunting in a few weeks. The second picture is a comparison between the 45-70 cartridge and 45 ACP.
