I'm guessing he meant to type "slide cover plate" as his edited post now reflects.

Will do. I got it for a steal as supposedly there is a slight scuff on it. We'll see. It's all aluminum and I am consider getting the chamber end of my barrel duracoated to match the OD lower anyway, so if there is a blemish it gets to be part of a project.

Delaying my daily trip to the gym for the mail to arrive!

So, after a mishap of it showing as shipping to the wrong place, it arrived here right as I got home from the gym. I was a bit relieved, than I opened the package to find it was the wrong one! They sent me a Punisher Skull instead. it's not bad, but not what I had intended. I emailed the company and am awaiting a reply. but for now. here is a pic with the one they sent. And looks like the gold fillings are a no go as it not exactly engraved into the alluminum but C&C'd into a relief image.

I dunno, Have to see what they say, but I may keep this one as itis growing on me!

I wonder, in a match like USPSA, you think that would distract your eye from keeping on your front sight? (or dot if your using one)

believe it or not, the back of the gun does look different but it takes little time to not even notice the new cover plate and just look down the sights.

I have had WAY less problems with "those cheap factory sights" than any
set of FO sights.

Dawson's
TruGlo TFO

I've used a few diff FO's and Night Sights on a few diff guns and although I'm not the biggest fan of Glock Cup and Ball sights, they aren't bad. I'm not sure they'll be on much longer, but if they are, it's no biggie.

I have the Truglo TFOs on my G19 and love them. The past couple of Glocks I have had also sported the TFO's. They are definately one of my favorites..but there are a bunch out there that are great as well.

Keep GunBlaster away fromm the TruGlo TFO sights. Also be careful with the
sights and marble counter tops. I shattered a TFO's fiber optic rod when the slide
was bumped and fell the height of the Glock case to the counter. TruGlo
did replace the sight, but it was about a three week wait.
They are a great "target" sight but no where good enough for a combat or HD sight.

Those are Warren Tactical Sevigny Carry Tritium Sights. They are in the 8 configuration. The front dot is large and green, the rear dot is smaller and yellow. I LOVE them!!!
