I have a few long guns, but nothing special. I sold quite a few long guns in my younger days that I regret.
As far as storage is concerned, I have a small room lined with racks and shelving.

Thanks.
As far as round counts go, my Ruger Mark III probably has the most. For centerfires, possibly my Sig X-Five.
Colt Pythons are my favorite revolvers.
As for non-1911 autos, I really like the S&W 952 and Sig X-Five.

There's an "Evaluate your collection" thread in the General Firearms forum (if I remember correctly). Unfortunately, every time I see it, I remember this thread and think, "I don't wanna evaluate MY collection. I wanna evaluate bac's!"
Beautiful collection, bac.

Thanks McGee.
It was actually that thread that finally motivated me enough to take pics. Its a real PITA taking large family pics, but I'm glad I finally did it.

I have a G33 as well.
I'd like to get a 4th Gen G34 whenever they're available.

No problem man, I didn't take it as such.
Unfortunately, Llamas and/or Stars are not true 1911s. As you can see, my Star Model B is not in my 1911 pic.
They're close, but not quite there.

Thanks
The Browning Hi-Power and S&W 952 are two of the best pistols ever built, in my opinion.
...the Walther P88 isn't too shabby either.

Just curious? How do you store them without causing damage/scratches? Do you individually case each one? I am safe challenged.
|
Sorry I missed this question.
I store them in a room on shelving. While its tight, none of them really ever touch each other, so scratches are avoided.

Thank you for the pics. I do have a question. Everyone keeps asking you which one you like the best. Which pistol that you own do you like the least?

I going to guess the Tauri as far as the 1911's are concerned.

That's a good question. Al, you're certainly right as far as 1911s are concerned.
As far as non-1911s go, I guess it would be easy for me to say the Hi-Point or Jimenez. They're definitely in the running for sure, but I don't expect much from them. The Walther P22 was a big disappointment from a quality and reliability standpoint.

I would expect that about the Hi point, that is disappointing about the Walther.

The P22 is cheaply built and unreliable with all but the hottest 22lr ammo.
Others have had luck with them, but many have the same experience as me.

That is a crazy collection. Is there a method to the madness? Lots of quality stuff, but junk too. The S&W 952 is sooooo gorgeous.

I just like the full range of handguns from cheap to expensive.
Yes, the 952 is an incredible gun. Its got my vote as one of the best 9mms ever built.
