Some great stuff here. I just recently picked up my very first rifle ever. At 37 that seems to be a shame for as much as I enjoy shooting.

Romanian model. I put new synthetic stocks on it as I didn't like the feel of the ones in the picture. I gave it some coats of Krylon as well. I was kind of excited about having my first rifle

Aftermarket furniture. De-banned threaded barrel and 45 degree flash deflector. Bulgarian made Milled reciever. Imported by DIG Virgina Beach Virgina. Last (and probably the best) of the 1947 AK's.

You got me. It was on it when I traded for it. I will try and find out. He did tell me that it was finished by a guy (I think) in Arizona that had a home brew formula of stain to achieve that particular Cherry color. I will ask him for more detail and get back to you.
