I was about to say, "Bladetech?", but I now see they're Wilson Combat. Good stuff!

You need a sap for your belt. I know a great little store just off I-25 that could help you out.

I think I might try using open top cuff cases. Any reasons why you guys like or dislike them?

Easier to get my paws on. I don't like flaps on stuff, in case I happen to be in the process of un-assing my patrol car while ducking rounds and shooting guns, I don't want to have to remove a flap before reloading. Same with cuffing some ****box. I don't want my attention on anything but his hands.

YMMV

I agree, the flaps never want to stay down when you're just sitting around either.

I dunno if our rangemasters would be OK with us using an open top mag holder though.

We are NOT allowed to have an open top mag carrier...and it really sucks.

But wow...that's a big stick you carry. I'm assuming it gets de-holstered while in the cruiser?

they fit rather nicely on the floorboard next to the door.

And I never thought about that...although in my Cherokee it would just fall out when I opened the door.

usually you can jam it backwards a bit so it sticks between the seat/cage and the vehicle wall

I dunno. Haven't worked a shift yet. I'm still in admin week.

I'll probably wait till I get outta FTO to rock it, to save room.

New faux leather belt

From right to left

- 16" polymer baton with ridged handle for increased grip, mostly used to hit partner in crotch when least suspected
- Portable radio, battery-less so i never have to worry about dead batteries, or using it
- 1 set of polymer cuffs with keys (spare keys in my chest pocket) *** quick release on cuffs incase i loose both sets of keys
- Level 1/2 velcro retention holster for service revolver.
- Small revolver, with aftermarket Orange Polypropylene coating for increased durability, and visability if dropped in the dark.
- Surenottofire Flashlight which is also battery-less so you dont have to worry about dead batteries. It cant break car windows but it's good for squishing bugs on your dashboard

I put put some velcro on my mic and mounted it on my vest.

Not enough room on the belt

My MPH True View mic stays in the cradle until I'm about to stop someone. When I'm preparing to blue light the car I slip the mic under my epulet.

I dont have room on my belt to mount the carrier for it.
