Despite having just got the Baer, I'm gonna start saving my pennies for a Wilson. If everything goes well I could maybe swing a CQB by Oct-Nov...

Yeah, well I kinda started over in my late 20's. So I didn't get one the first time around when I was younger. I'll make up for that this time though...

Which Rock River?
I've got the top of the line Limited Match and its one of the best 1911s ever built, in my opinion. Too bad they aren't building them anymore.
They're nearly impossible to find used.

Nice pistol! I have a 5" pro carry. I agree that they are very nice pistols. I do not have the experience that you do, but I have tried most of the semi custom makers. My favorite would have to be Ed Brown. To me they are the smoothest shooting.

The Pro Carry is nice as well.
I actually prefer Rock River over Ed Brown.
I've got the Classic Custom, which is Brown's top 1911, but the Rock River Limited Match shoots better for me.
That said, the Classic Custom is a great 1911 as well.
