Pretty much finished with this one, other than deciding on the AFG, and possibly adjusting the rail covers.

Noveske N4 Recce Low-Pro
Magpul UBR
Magpul AFG
Magpul XM and ladder rail covers
ACOG TA33R-8 in Larue QD mount

Here's my completed rifle. Its a Bushy, but don't worry its been completely gutted of all internal factory Bushmaster parts.

I will give them credit for using 4150 steel, decent M4 feed ramps, a true 5.56 chamber, and chrome lining. That factory bolt and bolt carrier are garbage though.

Thanks a lot.

Yup, good eye. Troy single point, it's extremely comfortable. And my rifle isn't light by any means.

SIDE NOTE: My dealer just got in M855.

Removed the stock M4 single heat shield handguard and replaced with a Troy Industries FDE mid-length, drop-in BattleRail. This allowed me to spread the BUIS and EOTech out a bit (EOTech would not fit over the M4 handguard), and allowed me use a Troy sling mount on the side which better accommodated the 3-pt sling.

Noveske #2 is ready (will post better pics tomorrow in the sunlight)

I built the lower on a "free" Noveske 2nds with a G&R LPK. used the VLTOR stock that came on my other Noveske, added a Magpul MOE grip. The upper is a Noveske N4 Recce Basic Upper, and its topped off with a Aimpoint H1 in a Larue tall mount.

Well I'll play since I spent the last month doing a rebuild on mine...

The SHOT ShowCase

Started out life as an Olympic Arms CAR-15 that was purchased during the ban for way too much money... During it's first rebuilt I had a RRA HBAR upper but it was too heavy so it was sold to fund the current config;

Olympic Arms SGW stopsign lower sent back and remanufactured with same serial #
Bravo Co 14.5" Upper with pinned A2X for 16.1", chrome lined 1:7 twist
Bravo Co BCG
DD Omega 7 rail system (odd shaped for some accessories)
Bravo Co mil spec buffer tube assy (H)
Magpul MOE grip/stock/trigger guard and AFG
Magpul rail covers
Troy BUIS (BCM)
Aimpoint M3 (4moa) in Larue mount
Gear Sector "E" series light mount
Gear Sector front sling mount
Noveske QD end plate
RRA 2 stage trigger
Viking Tactics VTAC sling
Viking Tactics Surefire "Scout" type light... Excellent value, could barely get the head for the price of the complete light. Quite a cost savings next to a complete Surefire Scout light

Thanks for the compliment. Not so sure on the sling setup so far, most of the VTAC instructions say to mount on the top of the stock, but the MOE doesn't really have a good "top" sling loop... So far it works ok on the QD end plate but I need to shorten it quite a bit probably.

I was just trying to build a functional, somewhat LW rifle. Usually I just run a removable carry handle but I traded into this optic for about half of what it retails for so I added a bit of weight.
