Good news update: The molds are in the machine and we should have prototypes any time.
If you are in Phoenix this weekend please feel free to stop by our booth. We are located in the full auto building.

Would you be interested in someone who can test frames all 3 calibers?

JR
These frames only fit Gen 3 G22's or can I use one on a Gen 2 circa 1995?
Thanks

I received 3 brand new frames last week. We are working on them now. Should have test fire results this week.
SOC: If you have all 3 slides it would be great to test all 3
TX: These frames should fit any Glock slide regardless of production year

Yah these frames look really good but there are a few things we need to deal with. Please don't start emailing me and sending PM's about this project. I have a little more work to do and one of my machinists is still out on vacation. Once we pull the trigger on this batch (how ironic!) I will notify you guys via this thread.
If you are interested in being a beta tester: You will need to verify with your local FFL dealer he is willing to receive the frame for you. Your dealer will have to fax or email a copy of his FFL before we can ship the sample frame.
You cant do anything right now, wait until I notify you here.
Do not have your dealer do anything until I notify you here.

Here is a pic of the 3 latest samples. I will try and work up a video so you can see some of the features in a different light.

Love to be a beta tester, got a G34, tons of magazines and 1k ammo. I also have a G22 upper and can test some .40s&w also. I'm pretty sure i could use the frame in a uspsa match limited division. If i do get a chance i'd like to put it on youtube too.

Interested and I meet the requirements; also, I bought the G26 from you last Spring, so you have already sent successfully to my FFL. I have a 26, 19, and 17; I have stock slides with stock internals and I also have your 34 and 17L-equivalent slides, and the dust cover, so could run these setups on the 19 and 17. I also have a lot of your frame and slide internals and Vanek triggers I could run with them, and your extended, ported barrels for the 26, and 19, and extended threaded barrels and your compensator for the 19, 17L, 34 and 17 setups.

JR, I hope they are a success and you make them for the G23 as well.

I really like/don't like finger grooves on my guns because my very small hands don't find them comfy, very often,
"UNLESS" they are custom fitted to or just coincidentally fit my hand perfectly then in that case I'm just tickled pink! Er . . I guess I meant green
Having said that I'm perfectly willing to give LWDs' new frame a chance FINGER GRIPS and all just as soon as they make one to fit my G23 that is; "AND" they are time tested for a bit "by others first", and the price W/laser hopefully will come down a bit by then.
After all I figure if the FG' s don't fit me I can always sand them off and put on some med. or fine skateboard tape.
Good luck JR!

Laser Questions
1. Steady Beam
2. (2) #2032 Button Cell Batteries - about 4 hours of continuous on time.
3. Weather resistant - rain & splash proof - submergence will not damage the unit, but batteries will have to be removed and dried.
4. Diode is replaceable by the factory (or a capable gunsmith)
5. Diode is offset from the bore by just over 3/4" - will probably not clear 1.5" dia suppressors but we are working on it.
Receiver Questions
1. Stippling
2. We agree!
3. Our Beavertail will stop slide bite for sure
4. We have modified a lot of Glock frames over the years. We would not be offended if you decided to cut, grind or chop away at this frame. If your proud of the job maybe you could even share it with us. After all, that is how we got started!
5. Don't know who Raven is? Don't know their product line. If they make a Glock holster ours will fit
6. Glock mags only. If you want extra rounds we recommend Arredondo
|
JR:
How about considering using the European style MR ALA H&K I really like that type of MR and find it to be both easier to reach (short fingers) as well as more instinctive and quicker to use, for me at least it is.
I think I lost my voice, maybe I have Laryngitis? lol
Thanks N.D.

Is the news about the 4th Gen Glocks not being compatible with the older frames going to derail this project?

Update:
I will have a dozen working models available at SHOT (Jan 19-22) for inspection. If you plan to attend this event I welcome you to stop by our booth #20571 in the LE section.
The prototype offer will happen after SHOT (soon), most likely sometime in February. Yeah, yeah, yeah.... its late.... better late than never. We are so close right now its not even funny!
BlenderWizard: The Timberwolf will sell at $199.95
LongGoneDays: We don't care if Glock Inc releases a gen 25 gun. Really, it will not interfere with anything we do. Glock Inc is in the business of selling guns. LWD sells parts..... lots and lots of parts. If you want parts all you need to do is call.. we are WAY better to deal with than they are. Last I checked, Glock factory replacement frames sold at $150. The key word here is "replacement". First you have to qualify and produce a faulty frame, ship it to the factory, they perform all the mods and return it to you. Too much hassle here.

I just talked to Glock the day before yesterday and they said they would replace the frame on my G19 for $43 + tax and they pay return shipping.
I'm just saying.

Happyguy

Happyguy: Why would you make a statement like this ($43) and not tell the whole story?
1 Law Enforcement DEPARTMENT price for a replacement frame is $43. Individual officer is more $.
2 VERY special conditions for Glock Inc to pay shipping and they are sending the frame to a department Armorer.
3 Civilian price on replacement frames is $150 & $155 (10/45) and STILL you must qualify.
Please don’t try to make it look like the guys on GT can make a call to GI and have a frame in the mail next day.

1. The person I spoke to said nothing about a Law Enforcement price and I never represented myself as law enforcement.
2. See #1
3. See #1
4. Maybe the person I spoke too was mistaken.
5. I really don't give a care what you think of my post because I accurately relayed what I was told!

Happyguy

is the price for testers still $75?
and i would also like to know the 199$ for the timber wolf is that a empty lower? or does it have all the part? if no how much would it cost to order one with parts?
are you still going to have a built in laser? how much is it for the one with a laser?
Does the frame come with the backstraps?
thesee are things i would like to know.
Hope to see you at the Show JR i am going to try to get down there as a guest of show.

The prototype frame will come in under $100
The Timberwolf frame is sold without the internal parts. This is a builder replacement frame.
We have the laser diode in place. Should be available shortly after the release of the frame.
Right now we have 2 back straps available with the frame. I do not see any need to offer more as these 2 will accommodate most every shooter.
I have 12 running models on display. See you at the show!
