I've been following this thread for a while (it actually caused me to finally register on the site) and the frames look awesome.

My main question is, has a price point been talked about? I know there was another company that developed a Glock frame...but the cost made it unobtanium.

I think it was posted at some point in the thread, but a bare frame was gonna be around $200.

Getting closer and i'm giddy with anticipation. I'm so pathetic that I actually had to give a case of federal to a friend to hold until I show him the frame in my hand otherwise it would have been gone long long ago. :(

hehe everyone is voicing their "participation" in this thread now. i like. this is good news to hear. I suppose I should snag up another glock 17 upper while I still can in preparation of a LWD frame.

It was a tough decision to pull the molds and yes the delay is disappointing however, the changes being made will result in a stronger frame and rail system.

I will be posting additional Timberwolf information on the LWD web site next week.
Better to get it right than get it fast. I don't have any problem waiting a bit longer.

If there is still room left on the beta testing I would like to be included. I have the parts, the ammo, and the FFL

JR/Dan/LWD,

Would it be possible to order the trial lowers with the mag catch installed?

I know I will need a slide stop, 3 pin locking block, etc as I will be using my 34(2 pin) as a parts gun for the lower swap, but know some things wont be compatible.

The Timberwolf lowers will include all the parts that are unique to it. It will not include any part which are common to standard Glock pistols Gen3

I remain certain that this frame will have applications in the LE market like mine. Plenty of officers looking for the durability of the Glock, ease of firing with a more ergonomic frame. I still stand ready to do LE trials if Lone Wolf wants me to. Still have the ammo for .40.

So I don't have as much experience as most here with Glock internals. How much $ and how difficult would it be to build a LW-Dlock with all the aftermarket parts/slide/frame etc. ?

between 7 and 800 if you went with all non-glock aftermarket parts.

I am definitely in for some beta-testing, myself, but what, again, are the requirements?

Whatever I need to do, I will make it so

Whoo, that's a lot of reading. I'm very excited about this launch. My dang 34 made me classify as expert in the last qualifier, I was hoping for MM. Oh well maybe if LW can make enough of these I'll still be able to sandbag, and win a major match.

If you need some beta testing from the South. I can give you the Tennessee boy's view point definitely count me in I've got plenty of 9 and 40, and slides to match.

I really wish you would consider producing a frame ala HKp30, with the trigger finger mag release, and the all around grip sizing. That has got to be the best mag release on the market.

I recently looked through the entire thread again, because I was trying to verify whether the LWD frame will have a grip angle similar to a 1911...I thought I saw this a long time ago, but can't find it now. Will it?

Two grips included with the frame. One is similar to a 1911, the other to a Sig
