JR,
What exactly will be included with the lower?

I am going to order the odd parts that aren't included probably today.

I am using a 2 pin G34 as a doner, so I know a 3 pin 17/34 locking block will be needed as well as a 3 pin slide stop, and a locking block pin, but beyond that I am unsure.

I assume the OEM trigger assembly will swap, but I don't believe the mag catch will.

Thanks again,
Hackett

Hackett: Frames include the MR & back straps. You need to supply the rest of the Gen 3 parts parts.
G33: Frames will work with 17,17L,22,24,31,34,35,37

I'm new to this site and joined just to get on this thread. I have seen the pics and want to be in the loop when these are released. Looking forward to browsing this forum. Looks like some squared away folks over here. Thanks Brad

Got all my 3 pin parts in today so I am all set to take the new lower out the day it arrives. Actually, my FFL owns a range so I'll be using it within 5 mins of picking it up!

Already have 1,250 rds of 9mm stocked up for the test. Thinking shoot 200 like normal than 50 with fast mag swaps, then tear down for inspection. Then another 250 the same way, then a cleaning. followed by 500+ just like any other range day.

Should be a fun project doing a work up on how it compairs to the OEM lower.

Nice thing is I have all the parts to hot-swap from one to the other now.

Should be right around the two week mark. Was postponed to make the frames stronger/more durable. So any day now!

Do you guys think the LWD lower will be better than a Boresight Solutions Extreme reduction on a G20???

i'd say yes considering you get to keep your old lower for a spare and 200 bucks seem's fair along with changeable backstraps can't do that with a permanent reduction.

I hope the changes work out for the full sized models. Hopefully, the compact frames will follow within a year, if not sooner.

I will be posting additional Timberwolf information on the LWD web site next week.
It is officially more than 3 weeks since this post...just sayin' I'll be checking this thread more often than ever - maybe 12 times a day instead of 6.

So in anticipation of this, has anyone priced out the in-nards?
I can pull out all the parts from my Glock, but I think I would rather build this one up. Perhaps they will have a "lower parts kit" just like for an AR?

if you build an entire AEM gun you're looking at between 6 and 800 depending on shipping and what brand parts you go with.

I just went out and priced just the "Glock Receiver Internal Parts" from Lonewolf.

If you just reused the top end of a standard glock, and got the LWD receiver with vanilla parts (modeling on a G17 3pin), it comes out to:
$84.97 + s/h
If I did it the way I am thinking with a LWD 3.5lb connector, extended mag release and LWD Extended Slide stop, it would be:
$100.91 + s/h

Perhaps JR can give us a "package price" when purchased with the LWD receiver/frame

If anyone is interested in the Excel spreadsheet I used to calculate it (it has the part numbers too), PM me with your email, and I can send it to you

All lowers will come with our Round Mag Catch at no extra charge (Code LWD-287R) and both back straps.
Electrohawk, you can take that out of your Excel spreadsheet

Nice! You guys are awesome!
Assuming the mag catch spring comes with it too, that drops it to, :
$78.97
and
$94.91

I have done a lot of searching, but couldn't find the answer in this thread...
Will LWD offer an add-on magwell similar to the Dawson ICE that will be compatible with the TimberWolf frame?
Obviously with the backstrap and size difference of the frame, the plugs and magwells from other companies will not fit, right?
