JR,
Page 9 of your mini 2010 catalog has these frames for $199. Any word on what the introductory price is going to be for your adoring minions?

We will retail the frames at $199.95
The R&D frames we discussed in this thread will come in about $75

JR,
I'm definitely interested in this. For $75 does that include the mag release?

Search of this thread did not turn up titanium... I would pony up more for one made of that, or even scandium, if it is possible or feasible... I wanna all metal Glock 20L completely finished in Titanium Gold!

This project is defineatly at the top of my list. I've been looking into a Glock for my wife. If I buy her one then she'll stop taking mine all the time.... hehe Not that I mind.
I think this frame might fit the bill perfectly for her small hands with the interchangeable backstraps.

He said it would come with the mag release but not the spring. It comes with their custom round mag release.

They no longer make Titanium frames. The cost of manufacturing Ti frames was double and Aluminum is just as durable in this application and aluminum is much lighter than Titanium.
Ti = 4.51 g/cm^3
Al = 2.70 g/cm^3
The "scandium" S&W uses is just an Aluminum alloy using a very small amount of Scandium and LOTS of advertising.
Aluminum can be coated in Titanium Nitride.

Two weeks off today for me...the latest time estimates indicate that I might be able to have one in hand for my B-day. Wouldn't that just make us all warm and fuzzy?

Figures. I sit in front of a computer about 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, now I am on a tripto VA and have no computer...for the next week. Using hotels and friends, hope I can find the right moment to get a test-eval model! Cheers everybody waiting by their screens...
