Mine is 247 in case there is any different inside the proto run.
Mine is 13X Jon_R

I really like the grip angle with the curved back strap. More natural point-ability after practicing the draw stroke for a few minutes.

Now mine says "awaiting FFL approval" What does that mean? My ffl told me he faxed in all of his info.

edit:
Just talked with my FFL. He says that he was asked to fax in his info again.

I got home yesterday to a phone msg. They need payment info.
Its strange because they had charged my card but then refunded it when they had a issue with the frames. Guess I will call them this morning. Its a shame that everyone doesn't get to work at 6am.

I had a similar issue when I asked that they add some items to my order, I guess when they modify an order for some reason they lose all the payment info.
(I even saved my credit card info after I saw that the payment info had disappeared from my invoice, but they still needed the CVC2 code on the back of the card ).

Just picked it up and put it together. I don't like the flat back strap very much. The locking block fit very tight, and as someone else mentioned the trigger housing pin seems a little long because of the narrower frame. I like the feel of it very much. Now its time to got to the range and see which magazines this plays nicely with.

Picked mine up today, and the finish looks nice. During assembly the locking block was a tight fit, but other than that assembly was a snap. Putting the G17 slide on the frame also involved a tight fit. More use on the frame could loosen it up a bit.

I have smaller hands and when using the flat backstrap it points naturally straight when being drawn from a holster. The curved backstrap for me tends to make the front point up just like the original glock though not as much. I am still undecided on which one i like better.

I took it to the range and fired 300 rounds through it. No failures of any kind and mags dropped freely. After a while, the texturing on the front strap made it uncomfortable to hold when firing. My fingers are sore due to the front strap. I will remove the texturing on my own frame to fix that problem. I am still undecided on which backstrap i like better because they both performed the same for me when firing.

"Thank you for your recent order.

Your order was shipped on 7/20/2010

Your invoice is attached.

Lone Wolf Distributors"

...FWIW, my serial # is "Proto 3xx", according to the invoice...more later, after the Frame is in my grubby lil' PAWS!!!....mikey357

Mine needs to hurry up and get here, I like the fact that the slide/frame fit is tighter. That should help with accuracy for sure as there seems to be a lot of play in the factory guns.

Looks like mine shipped yesterday. If my order is indicative of others your order will continue to say awaiting back ordered parts until they start boxing it up at which time it will say pending (mine did for a day, but I ordered quite a few additional parts), then the next day I got the your order shipped email (that was yesterday).

Hopefully some kind souls will post some pics for those of us waiting on our orders

Got mine yesterday.

None of my Glock OEM mags (10-rnd, 17-rnd or 33-rnd) drop free.

I'm in the process of lightly sanding and filing the tight parts of the frame. I have too many Glock mags to work on those, so the frame is the cheaper part to work on.

I'm hoping to have the frame drop mags by tonight. Spent last night working on it, and will spend tonight working on it too.

Pictures for those who asked (flat first, curved second):

The SHOT ShowCase

The SHOT ShowCase

And I decided to go with the curved strap because it feels a lot better in my hand. To fix the rough texture of the front strap I just added an extra Tru-Grip I had laying around:

The SHOT ShowCase

More pictures of the frame are here with comparisons: Lone Wolf Frame

Got mine

Well this AM I got up went right to the store and filled out my paperwork. NCIC check... NCIC is down.

Months and months of waiting delayed by NCIC.

Called on my way to work... as I got right by, still no luck.

Then at 3pm I get the call "TR the check is clear, come get it"

Told my coworker, "i'm taking an early lunch see you in 30mins" and off I went to retrieve it.

So to night I sit with it assemble, with a G22 upper on it.

What I have noticed so far:

The brand new locking block I bought require light sanding to go in.

The left rear rail required a touch of sanding to get some metal flash off of it.

The SFtrigger housing feels to loose until you lock it in with the pin.

This Timberwolf will remain in the G22 format throughout it's testing. Upon completion it may become a completely custom G24.

Right now the only internal that is not Glock is the LW 3.5 connector. The trigger pull is the best I have ever handled in a Glock style weapon. Crisp as a glass rod snapping.

The HiViz sights, are getting all kinds of compliments so they will probablly stay on as I doubt this will ever become a duty or carry gun, and all the testing will be in sunlight where these sights excell.
