How do you get the pipes to do that? Is it mixed with fuel? I visited a MINI board and one guy modded his MINI to do the same thing!

There are spark plugs mounted in the tailpipes with a coil and control unit in trunk. He pushes a button on the dash which briefly stops the car ignition (this lets unburned fuel go to the tailpipes). When the ignition stops, the plugs in the tailpipe fire igniting the raw gas in the pipe. There are some units that use a propane tank in the trunk with lines to the tailpipe instead of killing the ignition. A lot easier on the car engine, but dangerous having propane in trunk. Flamethrowers are not legal for street use.

What does it run? I'm guessing by the 'chute, that it runs well into the 9s.

That's beautiful. I think I could deal with being middle aged given the appropriate toys.

Beautiful car!!! Traded the Z4? I'm still dreaming of getting an M3 someday. An M5 or M6 is wayyyyyyyy out of my league. Enjoy!
