New (to me) Springfield CCO
I found that I wasn't carrying the Ria compact I had purchased so I decided to try to see what I could find my way into. Found this locally with 2 nice holsters and 7 mags for what I thought was a reasonable price. It has some holster wear and the previous owner put a pretty deep idiot scratch in it. The original grips are included but the previous owner lost the thin grip screws, oh well.
I did my department qualification with it and after 50 rounds there was one ragged hole, but to be fair it was 15 yards in to 3 yards (with only 8 rounds at the 15).
It came with 2 colt mags with orange followers and 6 springfield mags with dimpled followers. None of these have reliably fed the Speer 230gr hollowpoints I am issued. Hopefully some Wilson mags will make a difference.

Awesome!
I love the CCO concept. I just can't understand why there aren't more of them on the market. To me, they make more sense than a subcompact.

Yeah no kidding. I got to play with a DW CCO last weekend and that was a perfect sized gun for carry.

Because the majority of the gun buying public are ignorant and I am thinking a great majority of manufacturers are as well.
Awesome score on the Springfield though.

Mine is aluminum frame with Brazil under the dust cover (which suprised me). The gun shoots extremely well, however if I can't get it running on my duty ammo I am sorta up a creek.

I love my Compact. It is picky about mags though, Kimber TacMags have been flawless with it. Good luck.

Jethro,
Wilson mags may help you, but I am sure Springfield Armory will help you.

I use Wilson mags in mine, and have never had a stoppage of any kind.

Thanks for sharing!
I read an article awhile back, about a gun writer having Springfield Armory build him a CCO, in their custom shop.
I am hopelessly in love with the Dan Wesson CCO, and my goal is to buy one for my 45th B-day (a year from now... )
Anyone know what years SA made the CCO?

I just emailed Deb at springfield. For a cco built to pro specs it's $2,800 plus a one year wait.

Yeah, I don't know about paying 2X the price of my DW CCO to get a little better fit and care for.

I gotta agree. My luck the first thing I would do is drop the thing. But then again it is really nice...
