I have a S&W MP14a rifle that I'm planning on putting an Aimpoint CompM3, but want to BZO the irons first.

I want the BZO set out to 300m, using xm193. I only used irons for bootcamp on an A2 and used an ACOG on an A4 since, and been at both 25 and 36 so I'm a bit confused.

The rear sight is a Troy adjustable battle sight, but it has no elevation just windage so I figure for elevation I will need to adjust the front sight post.

At what distance do I BZO for up to 300m and do I confirm at 100m?
Any links to a site with the target used?

I did google it but I just ended up confused more than before. Any help is appreciated.

A 36m puts it about 4" high at 100m & on again at 300m

I sight mine in at 50m zero,.....pus it back on at 220m
