First! The only thing hot right now for me is this low grade fever I'm fighting. The little germ magnets managed to get me sick!

Chicken stew loaded with garlic for you. And, I would have a shot of bourbon, for medical necessity.
In fact since red wine seems to inflame my sinus cavities I have gone to the shot of bourbon and I am doing better. I wonder if I will live to be as old as some I have known of who followed that remedy?

my wife is a self described "cork dork" so we have plenty of red wine. A shot of bourbon could never hurt in m opinion.

I still have a box of Cabernet Sauvignon in the fridge. I hardly use it now, but I do take wine capsules. For some reason those don't seem to bother me.

I understand Bushmills and Irish tea are compatible. I have not tried it myself nor any Irish whisky. I have the occasional Evan Williams and in a toddy it is good.

Ach, sickness is not needed to enjoy. Although with all of the stuff going on around here, I am having a hot toddy made with my aforementioned whiskey, local honey and water. Quite nice, that.

I like that term. Never heard it, but I might have to start using it since I don't consider myself a "wine snob" even though I can usually tell the year and alcohol content of red wines simply by sight rather than looking at the bottle.
I'm a big fan of red wine, especially a spicy red zin.

Hey all.
Looks like my employers are getting called now by my LAPD background investigator. This has been such an arduous process, I'm glad things are moving again.
Hopefully you all in the colder climates get healthy soon. I can't imagine getting sick now. It's too beautiful outside here to miss it.
