the iver johnson light rail model looks good as does the remington r1 enhanced (if it had a rail it would be a winner!)

Yep. I'd buy as long as it's better quality than the RIA I had.

I have zero problems with the rollmark. For $600ish, I can live with it.

Hell, for that price, I'll cover the rollmark with JB Weld, and Duracote over it.

Looks like some cool stuff comming this year. I find the interest in .22 1911's quite intriguing.

But unfortunately, I am not finding the prices of the .22 1911s intriguing. I am, however, digging the .22 M&P for $365. My son would sh1t himself if I get him one.

The Colt .22 looks cool but the R1 grips could have won the ugliest dog competition.

I like Colt 22 (standard Government version) a lot.
Just hoping that it won't be any junk.

I gather a 9mm 1911 can be tricky sometimes, so if STI makes the Spartan 9 run like the .45 full size, the will not be able to make enough of them. I know that photo alone just caused me to re-plan my next 1911 purchase.

Looks like Dan Wesson is making a few different high caps on what appears to be Caspian frames. I wonder if they are buying them from Caspian or making their own?
