Now THIS is a friggin birthday present!!!!

No one is ever going to tell me that I don't have the best wife any man ever had.

Look what LOML bought me today at the gun show. The BIG fella, the .50 BMG.

Black Rifle Forum

30" Chromoly 4140 steel fluted free floated barrel with huge steel three rail system in case I need to attach lasers, night sights, ipod holder, training wheels etc. The bipod is a must, this fella weighs about 30 lbs.

Highly effective 30 degree muzzle break .

Magpul Dark Earth stock with adjustable length and cheek piece.

HD rings, 6x24 .50BMG proof mil dot illuminated optics

Custom milled lower, one piece milled dual huge lug bolt, match grade chamber.

So-so trigger group, will work on that.

Isn't she going to miss the car she had to sell to buy the rifle?

I realized too late the method to her madness. That was an investment on her part. Now it is going to be pretty much impossible to "not be able to afford" anything she asks for over the next few years.

It was fun carrying that beast all over the show saying things like " I think the guy with the biggest gun should go first" and " there is this squirrel that has been eating all the seed out of my birdfeeder" when asked why I bought it.

It is pretty simple, I needed a companion to my od G22, they look great together btw.

The ? is how much is it really going to cost you? My last present like that cost me about 10 times what it would have cost to go out and buy it myself...

Oh, I did buy it myself, just like anything she wants, she points and says, "let's get that". Only one of us ever made money. None the less, she is worth it and contributes to my filling up a large gun safe happily.

Congrats, but you WILL pay....

The day that I bought my first 'big' motorcycle, SWMBO had me give her a ride to the furniture store. I thought I was safe because I could not carry furniture on the bike.

They deliver..............
