One from each.
The question is you can order one model from each of the four larger 1911 shops. Money is not a consideration, how much it cost nor getting the higher cost model and selling it to buy the one you want then pocketing the difference. What guns you have now also not a consideration.
Nighthawk: Talon with the FLEX option in 9mm
Les Baer: Super Tac
Wilson Combat: Protector in .38 Super
Ed Brown: 5" SS Kobra
What are yours?
Just thought of this because I am trying to decide between going to the gun show tomorrow and buying a gun (Mini 14 or a .38 Super 5" 1911 if I can find one) or ordering a new 1911 from that crack dealer named George.

Nighthawk: Either Lady Hawk (Titanium Blue) or Enforcer (hardchromed)
Baer: Already have a TRS in NP3+, but wouldn't mind having a HC'd TRS Commanche.
Wilson: Already have a CQB and an ULC compact on it's way, as soon as it get's built, but would like to get a bobtailed Supergrade Pro someday.
Ed Brown: A bobtailed SF Carry in stainless.
You left out Guncrafter. Since I already have a No Name Commander, I wouldn't mind having a Model 3 .50GI bobtailed Commander.

I'd love to have an SRP from Baer, probably hard chrome and with the 1.5" guarantee while I'm dreaming.
From Ed Brown I love the Classic Custom, especially in two tone. Realistically I'm hoping to pick up a SF this year, I really like the stainless finished ones.
Cost not being a consideration I'd have to choose a Classic Super Grade from Wilson. (How come all the ones I like best are ones Bac owns? ) As a side note, I'm also realistically hoping to pick up a CQB this year.
I'm the least familiar with Nighthawk, I suppose I'd go with the Dominator.

I'd want to replace two of your "big four" with SV / Infinity and Springfield Custom Shop.

Infinity is a clear step or two above any of those, in my opinion.
They're custom built per order from scratch and are top quality in every way.

Almost made it a month without seeing it posted I did change a few things to my design. Carbon steel, bull barrel, light gunmetal Infinicoat.

One of the nicest single stacks I ever handled was a used SVI in .40 (before they went to Infinity). They were asking $1500 and I didn't go for it.

Those of you who prefer to leave the Baer's out of your Big 4, I'll take them and you can have my other picks:
Super Comanche
Ultimate Tactical
PII in 9mm
Stinger Stainless

Cool
Carbon steel is the way to go. What's the final price? That Infinicoat isn't cheap.

The price jumped to $3950. Which I didn't think was too bad.

Not cheap, but you are getting what you pay for and it's going to be something special. Can't wait to see it.
