The Hughes Amendment was illegal - Get the word out!

Rangel recently was found guilty of House ethics violations, and this video needs to get to every Congress man and woman in the House.

The vote is around 8:20 in the video, but if you watch the whole thing, you will be sickened at how Rangel smugly ignores
those that are trying to stop this amendment.

Now, I am begging you guys, to please send a link of this video to your Congressman. There is a form letter on page 15 of the thread linked above that you can use.

Also, please post the youtube link on EVERY firearm related forum that you belong to.

We have NEVER had as big of a chance to throw out this unconstitutional law as we do RIGHT NOW!

There are many men that have gone to prison because of this illegal law.

An AR-15 costs $750 dollars and a transferrable M-16 costs $15,000 dollars because of this illegal law.

We have a very pro-gun congress right now, and Rangel is already in hot water.

Let's turn up the heat!

I would call/E but I have one of the worst -IMO- Congressmen there.
He is anti gun with the same BS that he supports hunters. I have
contacted him FTF/E's and always same BS. He avoids me at all meetings.

Proper procedure may not have been followed. However, it passed both houses and was signed by the president. Failure to follow House or Senate rules cannot nullify a law.

The Hughes amendment has held up in court time after time. There are people in prison because of it.

Yep. This kind of thing has happened many, many times.

It was passed and signed by everyone's favorite president here, Ronald Reagan. Thumbs up for signing a stupid law heralded by the likes of William Hughes and Charlie Rangel, Ronnie.

Rangel has been, and always will be, a stupid POS. Now he is known to be a stupid, CRIMINAL POS. It takes an awful lot for Congress to charge a member of ethics violations, let alone multiple violations. He should be jailed and all his cronies in this little incident should be right with him.

That video shows his complete lack of knowledge. How did he ever get a gavel in his hands?????

His constituents are absolute morons, that's how.

What's more amazing to me is that we as a country allow people, by law, to stay in office after they've been proven by trial to be liars.

It has only stood up in criminal cases, where the matter to be decided is whether the accused violated the law not whether the law is good or bad. It has not had significant challenge in civil cases.

It has also been ruled invalid by at least two US District Courts.
United States v. Rock Island Armory (1991)
Unites States v. Bownds (1994)
Unites States v. Dalton (1992)

The Supreme Court has never tried to resolve these contradictions.
