TRP should be back from SACS this week!
Called today, just to get an update on my SS TRP and they called back and said I should have by Friday. You can't beat that. They've only had it 6 weeks. They had originally told me 8 weeks, which I figured probably meant 12+. Can't wait to see how it turned out.

No hardchrome
It's stainless. I had them:
do a radical bevel job
carry cuts (remove FCS)
high undercut triggerguard "Colt style"
flush crown the barrel
flush cut the slide stop
remove ambi and install single sided safety
then bead blast to a satin/matte finish
Should be pretty interesting. The people at the SACS said they liked it alot.

I'm interested in see the after.
BTW, did you slip them an extra $20 or something? I'm still waiting on work from them that was sent in last August...

No doubt. I couldn't believe it when they told me it was almost ready. I know when I was going over everything with Dave on the phone, that he said he was excited to see how it was gonna turn out, as they'd never done all that and especially to a TRP. I thought it was pretty cool that he was excited to get working on that project. Maybe they bumped me to the front of the line based on the cool factor.

I'm trying my hardest not to call and ask where mine is. I know that if I call and talk to Dave, it'll delay everyones order, including mine. Did you have them continue the checkering up the front strap?

Interested in these two. The before and after on the FCS erase especially.

That sounds really nice, I too am waiting anxiously for the pics. I am really intrigued in the FCS delete and high power cuts.

Same here. I asked today if they could send me a pic of the slide, but that's not allowed. I'm hoping they make it look cool, as I was kinda wingin' that whole thing. From the best I could describe to them, it should look something the front of a Wilson Ultra Light Carry, but with the radical bevel, kind of flow, instead of have a sharp edge. As for the high cut under the trigger guard, I think I sent Dave a picture of my Colt Commander IIRC. This one I think.

No. Just left the checkering as is.
