The Wilson Patriot Elite

Thought you guys might want to see this WC creation. Not sure about color case hardening or bull barrels on 5" models but the pictures make it look pretty good.

Nice.

I'm not a big fan of case colored 1911s, but that looks good.

Case colored should stay on shotguns. Maybe it will grow on me.
No thanks on the V MSH
No thanks on the bb
I like the rest of it.

That fugly rear sight doesn't go with the finish very well.

I don't care for the FS checkering, reminds me of a PT1911.

I do have to admit, the muzzle looks damn nice, and so does the special cap for the recoil spring.

I'll pass. Somethings look good artificially worn. Furniture, for instance looks good "distressed" as my wife would say. That gun looks like it was left out in the rain to rust. Now give me one that is duracoated or parked and I am in.

That is a sweet looking pistola...I wasn't a Wilson fan for the longest time, but I am really starting to like them a lot lately...

I really dig it, except for the MSH that nobody under the age of 102 likes.

Yea that was another feature that kind of made me go, meh. Its like a combination of a flat MSH that sticks out like a curved one. Maybe its called a wedge MSH? I feel its something manufactures do just to be different.

Duracoated or Park'd? Really???

There are SOO many better finishes out there to choose from. DC is a little stronger when it is baked to cure, but still inferior to KG or NIC. Parkerizing is an ok finish for rust, but rubs off fairly quickly when using a holster.
