New G35 - Any 40SW 180gr HS-6 Loads?

I'm told that HS-6 does best at near max charges.

I have two pounds of it and think it is a nice medium burning powder for 40SW. Have 180 grain Berry's copper plated and Montana Gold rounds.

Looking to work up a lighter to medium recoil round. Seems like 800-900 fps would be a good range.

Please share your favorite copper plated and FMJ loads please.

I used allot of HS6. But I went to Blue dot. In the indoor range you realize hs6 is kinda smokey. I tried a few test rounds with Blue Dot. worked great. With HS^ stick to close to max range. I tried mid range and the brass was falling out on my feet. No jams. But it did make it easy to pick up my brass

I use 180gr Berrys copper plated with 8.0 grains of blue dot. Worked great
I did HS6 7.3 same bullets. not bad. but if i had to get HS6 again i would try 7.6

like i said 7.6 would do great. but every gun is different. i would do 20 rounds of a few loads and work up to a good load for your gun. I would start at 7.3 and go up.
