I am looking at putting a red dot scope on my G35. I have tried a few of these in the past. The problem I have and it just me is that when outside in the bright sun the dot is so small I can hardly see it. It really shrinks up.
The scope I have now on my 1911 is a tasco pro point 3.
Is their a better type of brand of scope that might help me. any place that I can send a scope and had the dot made bigger or brighter?

I really like my Burris Fast Fire 2. My eyes arent great and I never have a problem seeing it. I have it mounted on my AK but it is pretty tiny. Definitely small enough for a pistol. Dont know if that will fit the bill for you but I do like it and plan to eventually transfer it to a pistol.

What size dot and what model RDS were you experiencing this with?

The auto brightness on the RMR and the 6.5MOA dot should work in bright sun.

I was reading about the leupold deltapoint with 7.5 moa.
I was also reading about some cheaper one that have different radicals and are red or green.
I have a old tasco propoint 3 and it is hard for me to see in bright light. I was wanting something bright and or more options than just a dot.
I have not read much about the RMR. I know trijicon makes great stuff. I just not sure I can afford one of them.
I just wanted peoples thoughts on what they have.

Depending on your application you could look at the Burris Fastfire II or III, the Leupold Deltapoint, or the Docter as well.

Probably not as rugged as the RMR but might replace your old Tasco quite well.

I shoot a Burris FF III on my G22. 300 rounds and no issues. PM about mount.
