Yeah, I should have worded that better...
With a longer ranged shot, outdoors say, with the stock fixed sights, you may want to nose-up the muzzle a bit, which allows the front sight marker (dot) to clear the rear sight notch. This wouldn't be necessary at an indoor range.
I change out the stock sights almost immediately, but I've also noticed that the front sight marker is a bit cut off at the bottom by the rear sight, when aiming and shooting accurately. At least, it seems so to me.

P.S. A fully adjustable rear sight would negate a change in the sight picture for even long range shots, if adjusted for those distances.
