If you carry a M-1911, What is it, and what do you carry it in?
A PHOTO=1,000 Words, and what MODS have you made, or is it BARE BONES STOCK out of the BOX?

Springfield EMP in Milt Sparks VMII. It is also a 9mm and i have changed the grips to VZ Aliens, had a few mags modded by Log man. I have a Single side safety from Ed brown, 10-8 trigger and rear sight sitting at my house. Just too lazy to put the stuff in

Kimber Ultra Carry II in a Bianchi 100. Things added: wood grips, WC steel MSH and a 80 series firing pin. The 80 series works much better than a 70 series in deactivating the Swartz system. Yes, I did this to my carry gun. Ooooooooh....

Normally I do, but its still out on paid leave.
When I get it back, its going back to edc, replacing the G33 thats on temporary use.
Kimber UltraCarryII NS/LG, uncle mikes sidekick, probably get something new for it, either a galco "summer comfort" like i've got for the G33, or a supertuck.
Kimber stainless ultra tac-mag, Fed 230+P HST's in it.

....why would you need a gun, anyway? The first sign of trouble and you throw yourself into the fetal position.

When I carry a 1911, it's an Ed Brown Kobra Carry in a TT Gunleather Mike's Special. Only modification is the edition of CTC laser grips that I cut down to fit the bobtail.

Yeah, hopefully they will get it fixed. It's been there a couple weeks and I think they said it was about a six week wait. We'll see.
