Should I ?

I was thinking of trading my Glock G26 with night sights for a NIB Norinco 1911 Government 45 and wanted some opinions about if you all thought this was a fair trade ? The seller has put a value of about $450 on the Norinco.

Thanks

NO NO NO! Your G26 is worth more used than the Norinco new IMHO. Save up and buy the Norinco later. No one ever gets rid of a G26 that doesn't regret it later.

You can get a G26 anywhere and everywhere.
It is getting harder to find a Norinco that is LNIB or NIB.
Get the 1911 and you can easily replace the Glock.
You won't regret it.

Absolutely.

Glocks are dime a dozen. Norincos are not so easy to find anymore.

I've never regretted it,........I would agree of the usefulness of the G26.
But between the two, I'd chose the Norinco

Ur nuts. Don't trade what may be the best all around concealed carry pistol ever produced.

There, I said it....but those who have time with it know how accurate and so easy to conceal it truly is

I know, thats the hard part LOL. I wouldn't even be considering it if I didn't have a G19 which fits my hand a little better

If you don't, I'd trade my 27 for it.

Are you sure you're not talking about the 1911?

My compact 1911s are easier to conceal and more accurate, for me anyway, than my 27 or any 26 I've shot. Not that the Glock is bad but it's not the carry pistol I thought it would be. Guess that's why they make different guns though.

But the 26 does what the 19 doesn't (I own three 19's and one 26) in that it can double as a pocket pistol, perfect BUG to the 19, and most importantly chics dig baby Glocks...and that's a fact jack (in bill murray stripes tone)

Correct. If you have something else to carry or don't carry trade. If not you will be hard pressed to find a better carry gun then the 26.

And as to Glocks being a dime a dozen. I really got ripped off.

My point in this was looking at the $. Used G26's go for at least $450 around my parts if you can find them. They list new at Scheels for $549.00. Not many used ones in my neck of the woods.

I regret two Glock sales, not doing that again. Keep the 26 man. It's a gem, especially if it gives you flawless performance! Save save save for the 1911 and feel good that you would have both.
