Input requested.
I'm finishing up a a new build and I feel the need to do something just a bit different.
I've done quite a few black, grey and black with grey builds recently.
Brandon from Cerakote just sent me this pic of a recent color addition known as Burnt Bronze:
What do you think?
Black slide over Bronze lower? Or the reverse?
What color/type grips?
All suggestions will be appreciated!

I like that color,.......reminds me of an OD green with a candy base.
Looks utilitarian, so I would think Burnt Bronze frame, black slide & controls.
Grips.........something in black. VZ or Simonich would be my pick.

It would look good on the lower, black top end. I'd use a black trigger/mag catch/slide stop and grips to break it up a bit. Black G10 grips would be my pick.

I like the way that sounds. And of course it's got to be golfballed.

I don't like the OD Green look... So for me, I wouldn't go with that, but that is just a personal preference.

Not a fan. Reminds me of the CQB a few years back. Heck the whole thing one color would look better than that two tone combo.

Yeah, me either. Has kind of a Stadium Mustard feel to it. I dig the all black, black/grey personally.

I have to say, I'm a fan on your black/grey but not two-tones unless it's like HC/black and that's only on some guns.

I agree with Rocket. I am not feeling the two tone with this color. I could maybe see a solid frame and slide job for a race gun, but it's too much for me personally to put it on anything else. Maybe I am to traditional.

Burnt bronze actually makes my brain hurt. I'd vote no for that color.

That looks a lot better then what I was imagining. Maybe its the camera, lighting or something else, but thats not nearly so far over the top as I was thinking.

The above picture does not represent the color well.
Personally, I'd go with a bronze frame and slide with with everything else in black.

The 1911 looks sweet! I like the first pic with the bronze and the stainless/silver.

That looks cool. I think it looks better as one color than if you would have done the two-tone.
