Nice report. Did Rogers do the original work? I can't remember.

Looks pretty good except I'd be bugged over the lug recesses.

Nice report and pics, thanks. Next time you have it apart take some more shots of the lugs.

It looks like it may need a different link.

Look's good. The "golf balling" don't really want to use that term as that's chucks in my opinion looks like it may have been done by MARS Armament.

MARS seems to be just a little different.
Here's a Miller Custom with the same pattern - http://www.millercustom.com/imgA.jpg
I think it's someone local in IL, and I thought Bob was from Geneseo, IL.

Now you have me wondering how the internals are on my Pro after looking at your detailed pics (prob have 4k easily by now). It has loosened up since new last year which made it easier to rack since then. I will have to see on my SA CC when it returns from the Custom Shop in the next couple of months. Now my TRS is a different story, it seems to not want to loosen up even after 2k rounds.

Okay, I preface this by saying first off, you have a gorgeous pistol and this is in no way an attempt to deride its quality, but I'd be concerned about the fit of the barrel on that gun.
Based on what I'm seeing of the lugs recesses pictured, and what appears to be also on the barrel lugs (hard to tell, blurry pic), it shouldn't exhibit that kind of wear....but I'm not the 1911 expert like others here might be.
I took a few shots of the lugs on my Kimber Cust II, which has approx the same round count ; just over 2200 rnds.
The edges of the lugs show no wear, they are clean and sharp with no rounding or beveling of the edges...
Also, the barrel...
I can't tell from the pics of your slide stop is taking a beating or not, but your concern about lower lug peening would also have me seeking a second opinion from a good 1911 smith regarding barrel fit.
