45 Gold Dots are back!
Ammo to go has 200+P Gold Dots, my favorite .45ACP carry load, back in stock. They got 500 less of them now though. Priced pretty good too.

I like 230gr and 185gr too, but the ballistics on the 200+P loads are awesome, and all of my .45's shoot them really well. I'll be checking them out in the Wilson ULCc next week. Got her on my hip, loaded with 185gr Gold Dots as I type. You'd be proud of me Dave. Been totin' the ULCc more than the Glocks since I got it. Great gun.

I have really taken a liking to the Wilson 185gr +P Barnes solid copper load. I need to try some of the ASYM loads that are similar too (I like that I can buy them in 50 or case round quantities and not just 20).

I was at Ammo To Go today, as they opened up a gunshop there too, and I was there buying a Cougar 45 today.

Thanks for the heads up. I emailed them a few months ago about 9mm and they were out but said they had some on order and to check back frequently.
Get them while they last! I need some more but can't afford ammo.

I have just the one right now. When I take my better pics, I do so outside. COuldn't do it yesterday with my 3.5 year old around - and today, no sun (cloudy).
Here is the 1 pic with some Pearce rubber grips I picked up 2-3 months back in anticipation of the gun...
I do plan to go shoot it today.

I took the Wilson ULCc out for a test run today with the 200+P GD's today. Ran like a charm. 50 rounds of sweetness. That's my carry round. Always has been, for a .45ACP, but at least I know my Wilson runs with them just fine. Ran a box of 50 through it. BTW, it's loaded in condition 1 with them as I type.

Cool! Those really are a great round.
I'm curious though, do you notice much recoil difference in lighter gun like that between the 200 +P and other rounds?

It has some recoil, but still recoils less than any of my .40's.

I like gold dots. Have run them some. I really love corbon , works great and a true friendly man that runs it. My typical defense round over the years has been hydra shock. I have fired many many thousand of them and get plenty of it not on my budget.
