Well , I sold my Kimber compact CDP to a friend of mine that wanted it more than I did. I jummped on this last night when I saw it posted. I have been wanting one or a while. I got it for $850 shipped . Not a bad price at all.

Yeah, I'd ditch a Kimber for that too.

The CDP Compact is my favorite Kimber, but I'd likely have moved it for an EMP too.

you talked him down from $925 to $850? Nice! I would have thought $925 shipped was not a bad deal.

I thought $925 shipped was a good price too, but I had to try.

I don't blame you for trying either. I would have jumped all over that deal. Maybe I should lurk over there and see what else the guy has for sale

Yeah thats not such a deal tho... $850.00 to $900.00 shipped is a good deal... $1000.00 plus shipping, not such a good deal... Just a normal deal...

They are that price here too at dealers, but let's face it... Dealers are here are outrageously priced...

Actually, I was assuming a Series II on the Kimber. If it was a sound functioning pre-II, I doubt I'd let it go. I actually miss my CDP Compact.

It was a pre-series II. I liked it a lot, but what I would really like to have is a pre-series II stainless compact .

Awesome! You'll love it. I paid $1059 + 35 transfer fee for mine, but I only have 3 LGS around me and no one had them (or could get them).

Not bad!

Hmm, I actually think I'd have kept that Kimber assuming it to be problem free. Those were dandy CCO's.

edit: to clarify, I'd definitely have snagged the EMP too.
