Bin Laden Killed, With a 1911 ?
Since im still waiting to hear the Obama speech this whole idea could get ruined buttt...
How cool would it be that be that U.S. Spec Ops Personnel involved could have used a American 1911 to put Bin Laden to sleep ? During the 100th year of our favorite Combat handgun's anniversary it still completed its mission in combat...
I dunno it may just be me but I think that would be awesome... Alot better than seeing a unit that is M9 or Glock equipped... Not taking anything from those firearms but in this case I think an American gun needed to take the shot

The reports I saw said it was a bomb. So I guess it could have been a 10mm.

As long as the USA got him with a .45, bomb, cruise missile, etc, all is good.

actually he said he was killed "AFTER a firefight".
sounds to me like the **** stain was put on his knees and executed like he deserved. i don't give a crap what it was done with.

Well to the first couple of ya, way to not watch the news haha
But apparently he was killed on the ground during or after a firefight by a special operations team, one guy said it was JSOC ? and said that it was a unit comprised of seals,rangers, etc.
My guess is that if it was one of those spec ops teams, theres a good chance a 1911 was atleast carried but the shot made with a SBR, prolly a ar16/m4 or something of the sort...
The fact that they took the body says that they must have done work to any opposition in the area haha i would love to hear a first hand account of the operation... too bad that'll never happen...

What I saw said he died in a shootout with the SEAL's. So if he was killed with a .45, it came out of an HK45c, not a 1911. Either way, i'm thrilled the bastards dead!

Yeah I read that Navy Seals flew in on two helicopters and raided the mansion. Said he was shot in the head. God Bless the Spec Ops!!
