So we serve a search warrant on a local crack dealer yesterday at oh-dark-30. Sad to say, we didn't find the mother load of drugs. As I'm going through the crack dealer's room, I find personal checks written to her by some of our upstanding local crackheads...

How desperate does a dope dealer have to be to take a check from a tweaker?

I would be willing to bet the checks are stolen and forged, so the dealer atleast thinks there is money in the account if she is able to pass the check.
