So let me get this straight....
Lawman800 asks Puro what he thought about illegal immigration.
I didn't know that there were that many gringos trying to cross the border into Mexico.

Of that, patrol 16 years
detective 5 years
patrol sergeant 4 years
detective sergeant 6 years
Don't want to go no higher...quite happy where I'm at with good people. I like to think I have gained valuable experience not like those Dragoon talked about. 25 years with 1 year experience x 25...we have a few of those too...
FTO, 9 years, firearms instructor, armorer (still). Still enjoy it and the health is good. MUST go in 7 years and will probably roll out in 4 as long as we still have the same brass. Pretty good outfit overall. Been lucky...very lucky.

WOW...to you and all of the other guys here who have put in their time, thank you all from the bottom of my heart, once again. I can only hope and pray that if I get the opportunity within the coming year to graduate from the academy, and start fulfilling my dream in LE, that I can have as long and successful career as a lot of you here.

I hear the only good Cops are the ones with medium seasoning. If there is too much season, they have too strong of taste, not enough and they become bland, but I havent personally tried cops before. lol
