B-West scope mount

Back in the day, B-west built a rather infamous AK 47 variant.
They used their own receiver design that incorporated two drilled and tapped screw holes that are drilled into the ejector rail. I have heard and assume to be correct that these holes are for a Side mount scope base.
Can anyone confirm this and does anyone know if this base is available anywhere?
Maybe someone has info or old parts to sell. <!-- / message --><!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- sig -->
