OWB Holster for Kahr?

Hi guys.

I've been a lurker for a while now. I enjoy my G19, but am about to purchase a Kahr...not set on which model yet....

I'd like to carry OWB. I'm looking for a leather holster that will keep the gun tight to the body. I'd also like it to ride fairly high if possible. Ideally, I could just wear an untucked t-shirt and be concealed.

I've perused through some of posts here, but thought I'd specifically ask for your opinions.

I'm also open to opinions on the gun itself if you feel strongly on it. This will be my first Kahr. I plan on testing a few out on the range later this week.

I carry a PM9 in a Dan Hume JiT slide.
As you can see almost everything is above the bottom of the belt.

Funny, that's the holster I have for my G19. I like it. How does yours ride?..close to the body? I don't have a lot of experience with OWB holsters and I'm wondering if I should go another route with this gun.

Do you find the gun/holster combo is pretty easy to conceal with an untucked shirt?

I have the PM9 and have gone thru all kinds of holsters and finally found and settled with a kydex style. I found sometimes the leather would close slightly when I removed the gun which made it hard to put back in smoothly. The kydex is very easy to use and is form molded to fit this specific model Kahr so its really good. But you'll most likely do what we've all done and go from one to another until your happy. Good luck.

I like the JIT for my PM9 so much that I have several on order for other small semi-autos. Good value for the money!

Thanks guys. I had a chance to actually get my hands on the PM9 and P9 today. It'd been about 2 years since I last held one. Turns out, I dislike the dangling pinky so I'll likely purchase a CW9 since it's the affordable version of the P9.

Speaking of value, I might try the JIT again. I might like it better with the Kahr since it's lighter and thinner.

The Galco M7X Matrix is Kydex, but it holds the pistol high and tight. It is easier to put on due to the snap loops.

Don Hume JIT works for my Kahr PM9. And it's high, the way you'd probably want it. I also paired it with a Hume Summer Special for IWB. Works great!

Sine I'm getting a CT laser for my Kahr, I have to rethink my holsters now.

Check out Lobo Gun Leather. Ray makes high quality holsters at a reasonable price. I have the Model 1 pancake style holster for my CM9 and love it.
