Picked up a Glock 19 last week

and can't find the date of production based on the forums data thats been collected. The serial is FU429 and its stamped throughout. it's on the barrel, frame and slide. It looks to be original. I mean it's in decent shape and I paid a pretty decent price (being from mass) for it with 2 10 round mags 2 15 round mags and a couple holsters.

I can post some pics later to show the condition but what would something like this be worth since its all still original?

Thanks

In pristine, unfired condition with the box, all papers and receipts I'd say in the neighborhood of $500. Anything other than that, proably $3-400

i recently acquired one as well. I am an instructor at our local police academy and we were trading a bunch of 17's and 19's to a local dealer for new ones. The dealer was offering them bak to instructors at a discount. I picked a 19, factory plastic sights (yuck) with two 10 round mags.

This particular one saw very little used, maybe 2400 rounds through it over the course of 3 years. Coincidently, it happens to be the one that my girlfriend used in her academy class. $296.50 including tax and background check.

Choices, choices.....throw it up for sale and make a fast $100? Keep it as a shooter? Yank the sights completely off and use it to teach threat focused shooting?

Keep it and or give it to the GF if it has any significance to her.

My advice, keep it or you will regret it later. Don't ask me why!
